We understand that professional advisers often need a notary who can work alongside them and their client’s legal team, rather than simply authenticate a signature. Our role is to identify the notarial requirements, understand the intended use of the document and help ensure that the documentation is prepared correctly for the relevant jurisdiction.

We have particular experience in dealing with FCA-authorised and regulated firms, where corporate authority, execution requirements and regulatory considerations can be important to the notarisation process. We regularly deal with documentation involving directors, shareholders, authorised representatives and regulated financial services businesses.
We also have significant experience with higher education institutions and understand that the legal status and constitutional basis of a university can affect the documentation and evidence required. Universities may be established by Royal Charter, statute or other constitutional arrangements, and identifying the institution’s legal status and appropriate authority to execute a document can be important when documents are being prepared for overseas use.
Our team understands the pressures faced by professional advisers when an international transaction or client matter is time-sensitive. We aim to provide a responsive service, with appointments arranged promptly and clear communication throughout the notarisation and legalisation process.
Where an Apostille is required, we can also provide a next-day legalisation service, subject to the nature of the documents and the requirements of the relevant authorities. We can coordinate the process from notarisation through to legalisation and, where required, arrange courier delivery.
